Senior Network Engineer, Fortinet

The Role:

Network Engineer with a strong background in Cisco Data Centre and Catalyst Networking and Fortinet firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure Fortinet firewalls to ensure optimal security and performance.
• Review VMware NSX infrastructure.
• Utilize VMware NSX to enhance network segmentation.
• Prepare and submit changes to Change Advisory and Initiation Forums and implement approved changes into production.
• Manage execution tasks through key outsourcing partners where required.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls (NSE 6 or higher desirable).
• Experience with VMware NSX and network virtualization technologies desirable.
• Experience with VMWare SD-WAN desirable.
• Experience of owning and delivering projects.
• Experience of working with IT outsourcers.
• Certifications such as CCIE or equivalent are highly desirable.
