Salary: Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)

The Role:

SQL DBA

required to join our client on an initial 6 month contract. You’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases in a hybrid working environment. You’ll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Database administration, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
  • Ensuring database security and compliance with industry standards
  • Supporting database migrations and upgrades
  • Troubleshooting and resolving database issues efficiently

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016+
  • Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is desirable
  • Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Brighton (Hybrid – mix of remote & onsite)
